A nice little storm front blew thru today, kindda ruining my AM surfing so -
I started the day by giving
MTV a tour of my new crib. The MTV-ers were amazed that a home as large as mine had never been featured in Dream Homes, La Jolla.
I made a quick pass thru Barrio LJ Shores - I think that
one street holds the reason why the line-up is
clogged with rented
boards and
kayaks.
I continued uptown to my favorite place to confront my personal demons: The Seal Crap Pool Nazis!
I used to be afraid to
enter the ARENA - but as
I looked-up from the Colliseum floor, I could see the eyes of the Neo-Nazis, and in those eyes, I saw their anticipation of: THE BATTLE!
My first action: I reacquainted myself with the
signs, everywhere a
sign -
Before I could even cross over
THE LINE, the
Alpha Female Save the Seals Nazi attacked my new
best friend, and screamed:
"You're in trouble now - you've crossed THE LINE!"
The watchers did not have to wait long for that battle!
Whew - I had to get out of there - too much anger for me to handle - but then it got better, starting 1/2 mile down the beach -
1. A
diver gets rescued. [just a great day for diving - you idiot]
2. I checked-out the new subsidized
Barrio La Jolla Housing Project.
3. Save the seals - screw the crappy roads, we love
pot holes, who cares about weird curves, why have two lanes when you
can have one lane?
4. Then I stopped by
Archer Street.
5. The day was high-lighted by an
Amy visit to Neptune's Corner.
6.
Amy
supervised some sign repair.
Another
crappy, green flashing, Barrio LJ sunset!
