15 Jan 2005 - Early Morning - Photos - A BEAUTIFUL Memorial for Scot Cherry's Mom, and some waves also pay tribute

I saw Scot Cherry this morning - he said is family was going to have a memorial service for his mom at WindanSea.

I did not know Scot's mom, but I have surfed for years with Scot, his brothers, sister and father, Dr. John Cherry.

The morning was wonderful, the ceremony was absolutely beautiful, Dennis Frank delivered a stirring eulogy [written by the Cherry kids], the paddle-out was spiritual [as it should be], and the kids and others in the paddle-out ceremony came in thru the peak and caught some waves -
