The 2005 Edition of The Bill Andrews Electronic Fish Wrapper Is Still Going!

This is even WORSE than 2004's - and it's getting WORSE-ER by the day!

Even more south swell for Ranger Tom in The Arena, Yoga instructress demonstrates a new posture at The Shores, Joe Roper in The Arena and Tommy Wolfe is a dork Reef;  plus a touch of north for Robertson's Sr. and Jr.

It was a tad bit crowded this pm in The Arena - The usual cast of characters included Erik Sommers, Mike Myers, Joe Roper, JoJo Roper, Samantha Roper, Buzzy, Drew Littlemore, The DuPonts - whew - I'm exhausted with all this name dropping -

Anyway, I caught one of the biggest waves ever ridden in The Arena, and I made it in safely, just in time to give Samantha $$ for my Wind**Sea Surf Club dues.

I hope my check for $3,600.00 doesn't bounce - but that sure seems like a lot of money for a 6 month membership??

Oh well, maybe I'm paying for the sunsets, too?

Actually this is from an alt dot surfer poser, err, contributor - I swear - It's IMPOSSIBLE to make this stuff up!!

Little Bobbie Gee, Chicago, Illinois asks:
"Upon occasion, I found myself a bit slow coming back from the nose and screaming out of a small section.

By the time, I was back on the board for the cutback I seemed to be slightly over the back of the wave.

This resulted in a desparate [sic], yet made cutback via body contortion.

Someone told me there is a now name for riding over the back of the wave and then cutting back into the wave.

I always called it an accident.

What is it called now?"
BA sez:

Sometimes even the blind squirrel will find a nut - by accident -

If you are capable of even catching a wave - that's what I'd call an accident.

You even described your contorted maneuver as "an accident."
