The 2005 Edition of The Bill Andrews Electronic Fish Wrapper Is Still Going!

This is even WORSE than 2004's - and it's getting WORSE-ER by the day!

- February 21, 2005 -

The tide's a little high this am to surf - so I better get some work done - then surf.

Today's low tide, pm photos -

Today's even lower tide, pm photos of:

Fabio caught a couple, Mickey Miner was everywhere, the surf under the Coronado Bay Bridge was good, and even Carson's Place had waves this afternoon!

WHEW - my arms are gonna fall off - way too much surf!

This weekend's been pretty cool so far:

1. Good waves both days - yesterday was bigger than Saturday - Visit Joe Roper [shameless plug]

- HOWEVER -

2. As if the South of The San Diego River denizens don't have it all [great waves, clean water, hot babes, perfect weather] they just gotta cross The River.

3. You may be thinking: "BA, why do they make the crossing?"

"You and your little boy friend Spicoli, err, Comstock, never go south of Archer Street, in fact Comstock sez he never goes south of The Rock."

4. I've just gotta believe that they love to flaunt their superiority, they just gotta prove that they are bigger than we are, AND that they take better photos, too:    BA's      OB's

Anyway - back to this weekend.

On Saturday, Buzzy, one of The Arena's heavies, caught the biggest wave he's ever ridden in his life.

Rat Boy Bright came down from Arthritic Point so he could practice for his "Hands Across the Border Surf Contest."

The hottest German Surf babe posed for Mister Long Lens - and La Jolla's hottest physical therapist was rapping, err, wrapping 5.

I got back another bunch of crappy photos I took with my expensive Fuji Disposable, including:

A Happy Face Mo-Hawk

A Sebe on the corner

A Carsten Cut-back -

A Sommer Time Wheelie

An Arena Creature out for a swim

My view on EVERY wave I catch

This is why I'm getting a spiked helmet

"Peace in the East" as practiced by Idi Amin.
