- 08 July 2005 -

I had elbow surgery on Wednesday, whew, all systems go -

I had a few bone chips removed - they [the chips] had been cruising around in my elbow, and a ligament had to be re-attached to some part of my arm.

My doc was pretty impressed by the size of my Chips Ahoy, and he is pretty sure that I'll be able to resume normal surfing in a few months.

[A local PB Toad / Witch Doctor tried to cast a spell on me, but I fought it / him off]

We had a little action at The Arena today - some kid, actually a 21 year old Boy from Brazil, accused one of the local groms of stealing his [Brazil guy] cell phone a year ago.

Brazil Boy makes big mistake by grabbing alleged pilfered cell phone from 14 year old blond grom...apparently the local grom fit the alleged thief's profile: - grom - blond hair - surfer - WindanSea [ wow - not too many kids in La Jolla fit that profile]

Grom calls for Arena help - Buzzy answers the call.

Buzzy, using brain instead of brawn, calls the lifeguard - lifeguard collects info - Brazil Boy chased away and he [Brazil guy] is told - on and off the record - that WindanSea may not be a very good place to hang around and assault local groms.
