The 2005 Edition of The Bill Andrews Electronic Fish Wrapper Is Still Going!

What a weekend - Saturday started off pretty slowly - the south was hitting on Thursday and Friday - not many expectations for Saturday - BUT - it did get good - only after we sat outside from about 6:00 am - to 7 am without ONE outside wave.

Big George got the last wave before the lull - and I think I got the first good wave after the lull -

I could have had one of the best waves of the spring - BUT - there were at least 20,000,000,000 surfers stuck inside on the left section - I had to straighten out instead of... "pull into it, you p*ssy!"

Today - Just another day of crapola in the cornfields of Iowa.

Looking back at last month:

Surfing - The Shores at the beginning of the month was very good - by the end, it was polluted
Surfing - The Arena by the end of the month was very good

The Arena - Beach at the beginning of the month
The Arena - Beach at the end of the month

Blood in the water - The Arena Season begins with:

LJ Kid's foot -
LJ local kid, junior at La Jolla High, gets run over, at Wind**Sea- kid does not know who the guy was that ran him over.

Max's dome -
Max, an incredibly good surfer, LJ High senior, gets hit at Wind**Sea by some guy.

After the guy rams Max in the head, the guy starts to go off on Max, calling him [Max] a kook, etc...and then he [the bad guy] hauls a** out of the water and starts running up Nautilus.

Apparently, he didn't run fast enough, and he was collared by some of the locals.
Then, the coward starts apologizing, etc...Too little, way too late!
