What's a good weekend in La Jolla without a hostile local confrontation - or the traditional Welcome to La Jolla?

I have ALWAYS been interested in devising new ways to improve the quality of surfing in La Jolla ...

I decided to change my lesson plan:

Why stand when one can relax on the way in -

- OR -

For better surfing, always practice fin first take-offs on Easter Egg Surfboards -

- ADDITIONALLY -

The surf at The Shores was way too big for me to ride, so I went to Deadman's for a little photo snappage -

The photo from surfinside.com shows a wave feathering at outside Forbiddens - then it [the wave] reforms into a left death bomb - Deadman's -

Deadman's rarely breaks, in fact it's best on a strong East / South East Typhoon swell, but today was an exception.

Luckily, I was there [on the cliff above Deadman's] in order to photograph the largest wave EVER ridden at Deadman's!

I had to leave Deadman's 'cause of some hostile local activity -

- SO -

I stopped by The Arena, to check-out the Sand In / Sand Out action, compared to just a few days ago:

Please note that the content provided on my web site is strictly for informational and entertainment purposes.

Actually, I'd prefer that you'd find another sport other than surfing, [if you insist on surfing, please stay away from me] or another pastime other than reading the crapola I write, and if the photos I take are so bad, why do you insist on looking at 'em, then telling me what I already know.

I'm getting an average of 15,000 hits per day on my site, and frankly I wish you'd find another place to spend your time -

Please remember:
Surfing is a very dangerous outdoor sport having caused hundreds of deaths, thousands of permanent disabilities, and tens of thousands injuries.

Global warming has increased shark and pelican attacks along the San Diego coastline, especially in the La Jolla area!
You are assuming the entire risk associated when you participate in surfing - go home - stay home!!
