In my opinion there aren't a lot of true classic surf characters left - Pat's one of them!

Sorta empty beach - sorta good waves - finally an Arena Afternoon when one can actually see sand instead of thonged Brazilians [the babes ain't bad, but their thonged boy friends suck] and drunken kooks [beached and in the water].

There was a near Rescue 911 - and Le Animal added a few words of caution to the almost rescued-ees.
