AM: The Shores

Yesterday morning, I surfed The Arena - good waves but a bit on the shifty side -

I looked at The Shores [yesterday] on my way to work - pretty darn good - so today, I surfed The Shores - pretty darn bad - and The Arena, where I didn't surf [even though I checked it before my Shores run] pretty darn good.

Oh well, surfing in crapola is better than not surfing at all!

One of the advantages of entering one's [my] "Golden Years," at least in my opinion, is that there are fewer push / pull events to attend. The kids are grown, they have their own families and don't need me as much [or at all] as they did years ago.

- BUT -

Occasionally, a couple of things stack-up.

This Sunday is Father's Day - my oldest son Brian [he's now a father, too] invited me to a Father's Day party -

- AND -

A co-worker invited me to a party at his house the same day -

No problem, I can easily attend both events.

- HOWEVER -

I have just become a soccer fan - not merely an ordinary fan, but I'm now a HUGE fan of Brazilian Soccer.

- DECISION TIME -

Attend my family's and co-worker's parties on Sunday, or attend the Brazilian Soccer Party this Sunday ... ??
