When Yokohama Bay came to The Arena

The only thing even more dangerous in the water than a sting ray, white shark, sand crab, hermit crab, or even a limpet, is a kook on a butt board.
They've been banned at Wind**Sea, and hopefully anywhere else where they mix with vertical, [and 1/2 man surfers]!

One of these days, I'm gonna learn how to take photos at night -
I took about 200 photos - these are the best of the lot - one can imagine how bad the rest were!

I try to surf every day - surf first - photo shoot afterwards.
When it's time for me to head to work or back to home, it's pretty darn common for a surf star to grab me and say:

"BA, BA, you missed the wave when I did a BACKSIDE OLLIE then 4 consecutive RODEO CLOWNS! I saw you pointing your camera at a kook instead of at me. Your photos suck!"

Usually, however, I did get at least one decent photo of the surf star.

- HOWEVER -

When it's my turn to be at the giving end of the camera - the result is ALWAYS as below - 1/2 manned in the foam ball.

Naturally, surfinside.com's Matt missed the death defying take-off I MADE, and the ensuing slalom course thru which I had to navigate just to get to the place where Matt snapped the photo.
Oh well, I guess bad publicity is better than no publicity!
Matt, I begging you, keep taking photos of me, regardless of how bad they make me look!
