When I started surfing in the mid fifties at La Jolla Shores, the place to learn was actually down at the south end / boat launch
Occasionally, it would get so big and dangerous that neither man nor gremmie would go out -
Today was a day like one I remember, the day when we haired-out no surfing for us
However, today's surfers are so much more brave than we were -

They came, they saw, they conquered, THE BOAT LAUNCH, LA JOLLA SHORES, CA
