Some how, some way, all of the WSC events have a start, a middle, and an end.

That the events even start - to me - is a miracle.

Today's contest was no different, with Harold doing all the hard work, Roper yelling at reluctant volunteers, and naturally, the surfers doing what they do best, surf.

We've had bigger and better surf for the events, but today's conditions demonstrated just how talented these guys are.

The surfing was so good, and the conditions so challenging, that I was exhausted just watching them perform - this explains why I have only 10 albums, rather than my usual 20 or so - Right in the middle of the activities, I had to go home, drink some Ensure, and take a nap.
