There are not a lot of sports in which the best can be commingled with the worst -
La Jolla Shores today, the sport's number one lady longboarder - Jen Smith - paddles out next to Mohawk Boy, with a mutant harbor seal body surfing in [actually the seal is named Justin, and he's a pretty darn good surfer, but don't tell him, he will demand an increase in his wave count and more squid snacks], and a glove wearing Go Pro Ho bearing in on her -
The Wheezers - keeping a safe distance away - are getting a good chuckle with this!

Some, err, perhaps all, of my tales of adventure may be parabolic and occasionally full of hyperbole - but this one's 100% fact!
Fact: I surfed for about 4 hours this morning
Fact: I'm way old, went home to change my Depends, slug down some Ensure, and take a nap.
Fact: I was nappus interruptus - there was a monster snake in my bathroom - it came in thru my sink, via the next door lady's bathroom sink
Fact: Snake went thru my sink, out the sink, and on to my floor - attempting to devour my most favorite shagger [bath mat]
Fact: Took photos [please note Listerine and Dove ensuring fresh breath and baby soft skin] before I wrestled my shagger away from the snake - Winner!

Risked my life today to take photos FROM THE WATER at a top secret surf spot full of hostile locals, stingrays, and mutant harbor seals.
There was a Photo Eddie in the water armed with his Go Pro, but it was aimed at his melon -
I guess the locals did not view him as a threat - different story for me - but I ain't afraid, and maybe, just maybe, I will return to this highly localized secret spot!
