August 21, 2004 - Survived Another One!

We were not supposed to get any of the south swell this week - too steep??

Here's Gordie on a wave at Wind**Sea - 18th of August - not bad for a swell that missed us!

Anyway - I ditched work on the 18th and enjoyed a pretty good day - even though the locals tried to intimidate me:

Scot Tried!     Teddy Tried!    The Parking Lot Locals Tried!    The Kids Tried!  even the Babes Tried!

Denny Moore even tried to moon me!

But they did not succeed - I paddled-out, then a Rat Lander did a Front Side Ollie over my head - still I wasn't scared of nuttin!

Surfshot even shot me - now I'm way scared!

Way cool, 'cause tomorrow - Sunday the 22nd - I'm gonna surf in the UCSD Luau - Team Luber Family [Karl and Paula]

Oh no - that means I gotta be surfin' vertical - oh my achin' back!
