September 30, 2004 -

Wind**Sea was good this morning - way south swell and pretty consistent - even I got a couple of good waves!.

Tom Tweed caught the wave of the morning, the local - we have surf PE - rats were ripping the inside rights and lefts, and Don't Hack Jay was still out - I don't think he's even touched land since the 21st.

The Menehune Contest is this weekend, starting with a huge pizza party at the LJ Rec on Friday night.

I've been thinking about a trip to Ireland next spring - I was gonna go to Bali in April, but I figger it's way too sunny and caliente - so as an alternative hot spot - I just saw some photos of a place in El Salvador where I've surfed - might have to make a quick trip down there between Thanksgiving and Christmas - strictly as a means to get my travel legs back into gear.
